RULES
Handicap Calculation & Cap
* Handicaps must be verified through a recognized app.
Team handicaps are calculated using: 70% of the A player’s handicap + 30% of the B player’s handicap.
Max individual handicap allowed is 22. Anything higher will be capped. This keeps teams balanced and the competition fair.
Tee Box Guidelines
-
Men: Play from the primary tees.
-
Men 70+ years old: Play one tee box forward from the primary tees.
-
Women: Play one tee box forward from the primary tees.
-
Women 70+ years old: Play two tee boxes forward from the primary tees.
1. No Breakfast Balls: First tee shot counts. Play it as it lies.
2. No Mulligans: Every shot stands. No redos.
3. Ball in Play: Once your team hits a new ball, that’s the one you have to play. Even if the original is found later, you can’t go back to it.
4. Lift & Place: Fairway only. One club length, no closer to the hole.
5. No Relief from Nature: Roots, mud, sand—play it as it lies unless you’re on the fairway.
6. Out of Bounds: Treat OB like a water hazard. Drop near the point it crossed with a one-stroke penalty.
7. Rain Relief: Free drop from puddles—nearest clear spot, not closer to the hole.
8. Greens Relief: Free relief if weeds or holes interfere with your putting line.
9. No Gimmies: Every putt must be holed out.
10. Tiebreakers: Decided in this order—best gross score on Par 5s, then Par 3s, then Par 4s.
11. Rainout Rule: All participants must complete at least 14 holes for scores to count. If all participants do not complete 14 holes, tournament fees will be refunded.
12. Score Integrity: Track your opponents’ scores. No exceptions. It keeps the competition honest.
